Primeros Pasos runs on an annual budget of approximately $40,000 per year. With this shoestring budget we are able to provide Primary Health Care as well as Health Education to over 7000 adults and children in the ten communities of the Palajunoj Valley.

Your help makes our work possible.

Five Times Five Hundred

FiveTimes Five Hundred is a fundraising campaign to provide sustaining support for Primeros Pasos.


The idea is simple, but effective. A team of 500 sustaining members donating just $5 a month ($5 X 500) can allow Primeros Pasos to meet its annual expenses for its core pediatric Healthy Schools Program.

Make A Supplies Donation

Donating equipment and supplies is extremely helpful in keeping our costs low. While some items needed are what you might expect for a clinic in a rural area- we also are in need of non-medical supplies, including office supplies and computers. 

 

We attempt to keep an up-to-date list of needed items on this page, but please email us at info@primerospasos.org to see if we have any urgent needs that may have not made it on the last list.

 

Shipping to Guatemala can be very expensive.  Frequently, we do not have the means to ship very large items without incurring large shipping fees and import taxes. So- if you are deciding what to try and get for the clinic, smaller is always better. If you know of any options for affordably shipping supplies to Guatemala- please let us know!
